ARPA

The aim of the course is in line to meet the mandatory standards in Table A-II/1 of STCW for "use of radar and ARPA to maintain safety of navigation".

ENCLOSED SPACE ENTRY

The aim of the course is to provide the necessary knowledge and information for those designated to enter into and carry out work in enclosed spaces onboard merchant vessels.

ERSC- ERM

The aim of the course is to meet the mandatory minimum requirements for knowledge, understanding and proficiency in Section A-III/1, A-VII/2 and B-VII/3 of the STCW Code, as amended

SHIP STEERING COURSE

The aim of the course is to partially comply with the requirements of Regulation II/4 of Chapter II, Section A-II, Table A-II/4, STCW Code 1995 as amended, as a mandatory requirements for Rating Forming Parts of Navigational Watch, navigational functions at the support level.

BALLAST WATER MANAGEMENT (BWM)

The aim of the course is to gain awareness and knowledge of Ballast Water Management in accordance with the International Convention for the Control and Management of Ships' Ballast Water and Sediments, referred to as the BWM Convention.

Bridge Resource Management (brm)

The aim of the course is to provide the guidance for masters and officers- in- charge of a navigational watch on the skills required for effective bridge resource management.

SMOKE DIVING

The aim of the course is to provide the required knowledge, understanding and proficiency for trainees who will be assigned as a firefighter/ smoke diver when fires on board ship.

FREE FALL LIFEBOAT COXSWAIN

The aim of the course cover the necessary competence for being in command of a lifeboat in the event of s shipwreck or accident requiring evacuation, in other words, the entire rescue phase which consists of boarding and launching the lifeboat, moving to a safe distance from the installation and staying on the lifeboat at sea.

Shipboard Safety Officer (SBSO)

This course meets the requirement of STCW Code A-II/2 and A-III/2, IMO model course 3.11, the Code of Safe Working Practices and the TMSA requirement 3a & 3b and addresses the requirements of SIRE VIQ (Edition 5) – Element 5.1

ENGINE ROOM RESOURCE MANAGEMENT (ERRM)

The aim of the course provides training at an advanced level for masters, officers and other persons on board oil tankers who have immediate responsibility for the loading, discharging and care in transit or handling of cargo; it comprises a specialized training programme appropriate to their duties, including oil tanker safety, fire safety measures and systems, pollution prevention and control, operational practice and obligations under applicable laws and regulations.
